My PA-11 throttle control had a tremendous amount of friction in it. The cable is out and sitting in cleaner, but it isn't helping.

There seem to be two cables out there purporting to be replacements:

https://www.wagaero.com/faa-pma-d-throttle-cable-for-j-3-and-other-piper-models.htmlhttps://www.univair.com/piper/piper...02-univair-throttle-control-cable-fits-piper/
The one from Wagaero is listed as 54" and the one from Univair is listed as 61.25

I spoke to Clyde Smith who thought the Univair throttle assembly might be of higher quality with a better sleeve.

Any thoughts ?

Evan
